I’m not exactly sure what ‘nature spirits’ are in this context but I’m definitely familiar with Pokémon!
As Indigenous people, we believe that everything is interconnected and that there is no separation between humans and nature. This means everything holds a spirit or lifeforce including animals, land, water, plants, the weather and cosmos – in this way, I think I know what you mean by nature spirits. I’m not sure though that Pokémon has anything to do with Native Culture, or at least I haven’t heard of any connection as a fan of Pokémon myself.
